FareShare Yorkshire – a little can go a long way.
FareShare Yorkshire is a small independent charity which relies entirely on donations and grants to keep doing the work that they do. They do not receive any statutory funding but do fight against food waste and hunger in our society.
Formed in 1998, to help tackle the food poverty issues across the county, they redistribute surplus food across the Yorkshire region. FareShare Yorkshire source and redistribute quality, in date surplus food which would otherwise have go to waste, which turns an environmental problem into a social solution.
Haywood & Padgett, along with nibnibs, have been donating food for a few years now and it is always a pleasure to deal with the staff and know that it is making a difference.
All the food donated is of the best quality and within its shelf life. All the major retailers that we supply are more than happy for their products to be donated rather than go to waste.

FareShare Yorkshire can do a lot with a little and every pound donated helps them provide four meals for people in need across Yorkshire. You might fund a child’s breakfast at a Breakfast Club, a hot meal for a homeless person, or a roast dinner for an elderly person’s lunch club.
