I started Haywood & Padgett with my business partner David Haywood, we had nothing but a rolling pin and we hand rolled scones to sell to the market traders in South Yorkshire.

I joined the bakery 18 years ago and learned the ropes whilst studying business management at university.

Luke Padgett

Director

Over the past decade, I’ve progressed from a hands-on production role to Director, gaining experience as an Oven Leader, Production Manager, and Business Manager along the way.

Charlotte Padgett

Director

My role involves coordinating with the Operations Manager and Shift Managers to ensure each shift is fully staffed in line with production demands and customer orders from supermarkets and other partners.

Paul Kidd

General Manager

Having been with Haywood & Padgett for 24 years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside the business. As General Manager, I now oversee all functions of the business, from product development and technical through to operations and sales.

As Product Development Manager at Haywood & Padgett, I lead innovation, optimise processes, and ensure excellence, collaborating with industry partners to create high-quality, consumer-focused bakery products.

Operations Manager

With nearly 30 years at Haywood & Padgett, I oversee operations to ensure our scones are baked to perfection and delivered right on time.

As Technical Manager at Haywood & Padgett, I oversee technical operations, ensuring product quality, food safety, and legal compliance.

Commercial Manager

Hi, I'm Ian Hemingway, the Commercial Manager. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer success, I manage numerous customer accounts, ensuring top-notch service and satisfaction.

Andy Stocks

Hygiene Manager

As the Site Hygiene Manager, my trusty team and I are responsible for maintaining and continuously striving to improve our excellent hygiene standards.

Tim Steele

Warehouse Manager

I lead four dedicated teams, ensuring every pallet is picked, wrapped, and loaded to schedule. Supported by Jack Manterfield in Transport, I oversee all warehouse operations and staff training.

Business Development Manager

My primary focus is on expanding global partnerships, driving growth, and bringing our quality bakery products to new markets worldwide.
