Charity and Fundraising
For years, we’ve been passionate about supporting our community—whether it’s sponsoring SuperJam Tea Parties for the elderly or hosting ‘Beat The Boss’ bowling competitions to raise money for local charities.

Our Fundraising Efforts
We are one of Fareshare’s longest standing contributors, donating 14.5 tonnes of scones in 2024 alone! (That’s around 34,524 meals according to Fareshare!). Fareshare take surplus food and distribute it to nearly 8,000 charities and community groups across the UK—Helping to fight hunger and tackle food waste at the same time.
We are also proud sponsors of the Proud of Barnsley Awards and love a good bit of old-fashioned fundraising through events like team Tough Mudder’s and our very own ‘Beat The Boss’ bowling competitions.

It’s why we know every member of staff by name and have people stay with us for decades. It’s why we contribute to local charities and community events regularly, and how we’ve remained a family-run business for 38 years.
