Boxing his way to success

It has been our pleasure to sponsor the young boxer Billy ‘The Kid’ Allen through 2021. Billy is an up and coming boxer from our home town of Barnsley who recently took part in his first professional match against an opponent from the Czech Republic, which we were lucky enough to watch!

The sponsorship goes towards helping Billy and the team with the costs for his all-important training and equipment.

Billy popped down to the Bakery today to tell us about his upcoming fight in November and grab a few photos with our Director Wayne, who says:
‘Starting out as a market trader myself, I know what it’s like to dream and strive for bigger things. I’m a firm believer in supporting young talent and giving back to the community as much as I can. It’s been a privilege to support Billy this year and to help him in his boxing career. He’s doing us all proud.’
