We're involved with a variety of different fundraising events, from donating scones for charity coffee mornings to supporting ambitious young people in their sporting careers. We're very proud of our roots in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, so giving back to the local community is important to us. Our staff are always happy to take on a challenge for charity. One of the most memorable was when a team of 30 of us completed Tough Mudder in Skipton to raise money for our local Barnsley Hospice. We certainly looked better at the start than we did at the finish, but we celebrated with a well earned beer and we raised a brilliant £1000 for the Hospice.
We have been donating surplus products to Fareshare for around 5 years, and it's always a pleasure to know that our products can make a difference in combating food poverty in the UK. All the products we donate are of the best quality and within their shelf life. Here's our bakery manager, Mark, helping deliver products with the lovely staff at Fareshare.
